In the year 2011, there were many natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions, floods, earthquakes, etc. Due to the heavy rain and flood which continued since July, more than 70% of the land of Thailand was waterlogged and thousands of people became homeless. Earthquakes hit Turkey successively, so the buildings were destroyed and thousands of people died.
The two countries urgently need the support of international society. On this, the World Mission Society Church of God (Chief Pastor Kim Joo-cheol) prepares the concert to help them and share touching emotions and love by classy music language. It is “The 17th Messiah Orchestra Tour Concert” to help flood victims in Thailand and earthquake victims in Turkey, which will be held at the Suwon Sports Complex on December 20 and 21, 2011.

The Messiah Orchestra consists of 100 members from the World Mission Society Church of God. Since it was founded in 2000, the Orchestra has been actively performing more than three times of chamber concerts a week, regular concert, tour concert and the concert to help our unprivileged neighbors. Inviting their family, relatives and neighbors who have little opportunity to appreciate the classical music to the concert, they have presented them familiar and soft music. Moreover, they enthusiastically support NGO’s events and international events to help our neighbors of the world.
